Amané Suganami is a keyboardist, musical director and producer based in East London. Having performed with a large number of musicians and ensembles across a wide range of genres, Amané is a heavily-in-demand musician. Currently he is musical director for Jorja Smith, Amaarae and Ego Ella May.
Amané has gigged and toured extensively across Europe, North America, South America, Australasia and Asia. Recent highlights include sold-out tours of the US and Europe, a six-week arena tour of America, live TV performances on shows, including “the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon”, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, "Later... with Jools Holland", live radio broadcasts on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 1xtra, festival performances across the world including Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Governor’s Ball, as well as performing at some of the UK's most prestigious venues, including The O2 Arena, The Royal Albert Hall, Brixton Academy, Ronnie Scott's, and Hammersmith Apollo.
Amané is also an artist in his own right and has had releases on London based labels Rinse FM and Melodica recordings. 2021 sees him returning after a brief hiatus to concentrate on his own music and is currently finishing his second EP.
